Paducah, KY – The deadline to file a bid to name the Paducah-McCracken County Expo Center passed this morning without any takers. Executive Director Patrick Kerr says he's spoken with some who are interested. He says they didn't commit because of what he calls timing issues. The Convention Center board had hoped to sell a 10-year naming commitment for 275-thousand dollars. Kerr says they will keep the Expo Center bidding open through the end of November. The board also plans to open up bidding on naming rights for the ballroom and other facilities in the Convention Center.
