Fort Campbell, KY – The Department of Defense reports four more Fort Campbell soldiers died while serving in Afghanistan. 26-year-old Staff Sergeant Adam Dickmyer of Winston Salem, North Carolina died Thursday in Kandahar Province. 24-year-old Specialist Brett Land of Wasco, California died Saturday in the Zhari District. Both men died from wounds suffered from improvised explosive devices. 20-year-old Specialist Pedro Maldonado of Houston died Friday in the Zhari District from rocket powered grenades. And 24-year-old Specialist Diego Solorzano-Valdovinos of Huntington Park, California died in Landstuhl Germany on Friday after being wounded days earlier from small arms fire. 13 Fort Campbell soldiers died in October from wounds suffered in Afghanistan.
