Murray, KY – Local officials are breaking ground in Murray today for the construction of an 8-unit apartment complex for survivors of domestic violence. The Merryman House will be constructed on Diuguid Drive as part of an over $4 million grant and low-interest loan. 12 other apartments are being erected in Paducah as well. The ground-breaking ceremony begins at 11:00am. The units are expected to be ready for residents to move in by next spring.
