Hopkinsville, KY – Christian County High School's choral director is charged with sexual abuse. 53-year-old Steve Sansom allegedly inappropriately touched a student in two separate instances. He has been charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a Class D felony which could result in upwards of 5 years in jail. District spokesperson Regan Huneycutt tells The Kentucky New Era the district investigated and disciplined Sansom independently. Sansom is scheduled to appear in court on November 10.
