Frankfort, KY – Nine Kentucky education partnerships, including Murray State University, have been awarded $1.26 million in federal grants. The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education says the partnerships provide professional development for more than 300 teachers and administrators in 50 school districts starting in January. The grants were announced over the weekend at the council's meeting in Richmond. With Murray State are three projects at UK, two at Morehead State and one each at Northern Kentucky, University of Louisville and Western Kentucky. They cover math readiness, literacy, language and other subjects.
