Hopkinsville, KY – In recognition of Veterans Day, Kentucky's veterans cemeteries will hold ceremonies. State Commissioner for the Department of Veterans Affairs Ken Lucas says there are four cemeteries located throughout the state.
"In Williamstown, that's in Grant County, at Radcliff which is near Ft. Knox, and then down in the Madisonville area and in north east it's in Greenup County."
Each ceremony will take place at 11:00 am. There will be guest speakers, the singing of the National Anthem and local Honor Guards will post the Colors. At each ceremony there will be service information, photos and personal accomplishments of the veterans interred there.
