Madisonville, KY – The Hopkins County Board of Health has passed its first reading of a measure which would require restaurants to post their latest inspection information. The ordinance would allow inspectors to place health inspection reports in a prominent location in the restaurant. The Madisonville Messenger reports restaurants would faces fines of up to 100 dollars a day for not posting the information. The ordinance's second reading is December 8. In our region, Christian County also requires restaurants to post inspection information.
