Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay quarterback Trent Caffee has been released from the hospital after being treated for neck and head injuries he suffered in Saturday's game against Murray State. The senior was injured when his head slammed into the shoulder pads of a defender before coming in contact with the artificial-turf field. Caffee was released yesterday from Nashville's St. Thomas Hospital after showing improvement, but doctors say he still has a long way to go before he's fully recovered. Austin Peay spokesman Brad Kirtley says Caffee has returned to the university and is expected to resume his studies in the near future.
