Paducah, KY – Paducah is officially bigger today after city commissioners last night unanimously approved annexing 174 acres on its southern side. The property is located in the Schneidman Road area south of I-24. The land belongs to Paducah & Louisville Railroad, Paducah Power System, and the Tennessee Valley Authority; all three of which signed on to the plan. In a separate ordinance, commissioners also voted to rezone the land from residential to heavy industrial.
