Bowling Green, KY – Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green is the new home of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children's international headquarters. It was most recently located in Winnipeg Canada. The WCGTC relocation is, in part, possible from a 750-thousand dollars gift from WKU alumni Dixie and Pete Mahurin. The WCGTC's focuses world attention on the potential of gifted children by fostering international communication with their journal, newsletter and world conferences.
