Hopkinsville, KY – Kentucky auditors plan to evaluate Christian County High School's low performance. The high school made this year's list of the state's ten lowest performing schools. Education Department Spokesperson Lisa Gross says CCHS made the list because of low math and reading test scores. After the educational audit, which could take two weeks, the school will qualify for $150,000 school improvement grant. The Christian County School System was considered among the worst in the state in 2007, but officials have since instituted reforms to improve education.
