Clarksville, TN – Clarksville City Council members passed a first reading of a moratorium on development along the proposed east-west corridor. If the ordinance passes a second reading, it will prevent development along the proposed four-lane road until an updated traffic study is completed and considered. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the corridor would connect Fort Campbell's Gate 1 to Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near the Governor's Square Mall.
