Oak Grove, KY – Oak Grove Mayor Dan Potter announced today Police Lieutenant Adam Vanderkolk will be the new Acting Chief. Vanderkolk replaces Interim Chief Major Les Langdon. The Kentucky New Era reports Mayor Potter would not comment on why he made the change. Potter did not say whether the decision was related to the recent administrative leave of former chief Milton Perry because of his involvement in an on-going case. Langdon will continue to serve as assistant police chief.
