Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville man is in custody on aggravated kidnapping and assault charges after police say he forced a woman at knifepoint to drive him around the city to steal items and purchase drugs. 31-year-old Alvin Brown was arrested after the mother of his child came forward with the allegations. Police recovered a knife matching the description of the one used in the crime. Police Spokesman Jim Knoll says Brown has a history of domestic violence and is being held on a $30,000 bond.
