Paducah, KY – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is working to open its major highways to holiday drivers before heavy travel starts. The Cabinet's Public Information Officer Keith Todd says the Cabinet makes an effort to pull down lane restrictions before a busy travel week. He says the more popular roadways will be construction-free. Many lane restrictions will resume after the weekend.
