Frankfort, KY – Kentucky could soon benefit from a $15 million grant for small business lending programs. The state is among those set to apply for the federal funds, which are part of the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The total grant consists of $1.5 billion dollars and is intended to be used to unlock credit for small businesses and provide support for local business owners. Officials with the Economic Development Cabinet will soon meet to discuss the formal application, expected to be filed in the first few months of next year.
