Paducah, KY – McCracken County officials remain undecided on whether to file a lawsuit to block Paducah's recent property annexation. Commissioners deadlocked in a 2 to 2 vote yesterday on whether to block the action through a lawsuit and instead opted to seek financial data from the city and Paducah Power System showing the annexation is justified. The Paducah Sun reports most Fiscal Court members view the annexation as illegal because the property wasn't technically adjacent to city owned land, but Commissioners Zana Renfro and Ronnie Freeman oppose filing suit.
