Murray, KY – Murray State University's international community plans to hold a memorial service for the Indian graduate student who died earlier this month in a US-641 wreck. The accident claimed the life of Arpana Gambiraopet and left her twin sister Archana paralyzed from the neck down with a spinal cord injury. International Student Services Associate Director Bill McKibben says the service is planned for sometime next week. Murray State continues to collect donations to help the Gambiroaopet family with medical expenses.

Checks should be made payable to the Murray State University Foundation, with the Arpana and Archana Gambiraopet Fund written on the memo line of the check.
