Metropolis, IL – Negotiations ended early on the second day of resumed talks between Honeywell corporation officials and the United Steel Workers union. The two sides say they discussed a lot of issues, but made no progress toward reaching a settlement. Around 220 union members have been locked out of the Metropolis nuclear fuel plant since their contract expired in June. The next round of negotiations is set for December 13. The two organizations say they will continue to negotiate until they reach a fair agreement.
