Hopkinsville, KY – A Hopkinsville man is dead and his wife is injured after a shooting last night. Witnesses tell police 24-year-old Alfred Clardy shot his wife, 23-year-old Shonta Clardy multiple times before turning the gun on himself. Hopkinsville Coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene. Shonta Clardy was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital from Jennie Stuart Medical Center. She is in critical condition.
