Paris, TN – Paris, Tennessee's Henry County Medical Center plans to build a new power plant for its campus. The price tag is expected to cost over $8 million. An architectural firm advised the hospital two years ago a new plant was needed to replace its current one built back in the 1950's. Hospital Plant Operations Director Stan Seay tells the Paris Post-Intelligencer the new 5,500-square-foot facility will house two boilers, a chiller and a 20,000-gallon fuel oil tank. Seay estimates the money saved using the newer, more energy efficient power plant will pay for the project in the long-run.
