Paducah, KY – Paducah Police say an undercover sting at area retail parking lots netted no arrests yesterday. Undercover officers left items like tools and a new flat-screen TV exposed in an open pick-up truck and no one took the bait. Sergeant Joe Hayes tells WPSD-TV the sting is the department's main method of theft deterrence. Police plan to conduct additional stings throughout the holiday season and warn shoppers to lock their vehicles and leave valuables out of sight.
