Marshall County, Ky. – Marshall County residents waiting to see a group of 11 endangered whooping cranes land in their community didn't get that chance this year. After spending three days in Union County, held over due to inclement weather, 10 of the cranes took off early Friday morning, guided by ultralight, and landed in Carroll County, Tennessee. Handlers decided to transport one of the cranes in a carrier for the next leg of the trip.
