Paducah, KY – A five-vehicle wreck on the I-24 Ohio River Bridge near Paducah yesterday shutdown traffic for over an hour. The accident occurred as cars were stopped in traffic while law enforcement worked to remove debris from the bridge. Police say Trinidad Mendez of Peoria, Illinois collided with a line of stopped cars creating a domino-effect. No one was injured from the wreck, although someone was transported to the hospital for an unrelated medical condition.
