Paducah, KY – McCracken County Clerk Jeff Jerrell wants more voting booths for next year's elections to shorten long lines. Jerrell says waiting for a booth to fill out a paper e-scan ballot is the reason for longer lines in recent elections. He says the County's number of vote-scanning machines is not a problem. The Paducah Sun reports Jerrell wants to add 108 more voting stations to the county's 54 precincts. The booths could cost almost $200 each.
