Clarksville, TN – Construction crews break ground today in Clarksville on a new fire station on Tiny Town Road. Station number seven is to be built on Outlaw Field airport property and will service the airport and close surrounding area. Mayor Johnny Piper says the over $1 million facility will allow firefighters to respond to emergencies faster and more efficiently. Station seven's current building at the airport is planned to be torn down to make room for a new Airport Terminal Building.
