Hopkinsville, KY – Hopkinsville High School Head Football Coach Dixie Jones is retiring. Jones offered his resignation to the principal last night. He has been the head coach of the HHS Tigers for 6 years. The Kentucky New Era reports he had a 27 year career as a football head coach. HHS Spokesperson Regan Huneycutt says the school administration will gather a search committee for Jones' replacement soon.
