Frankfort, KY – Proposals for programs combating underage drinking in the Commonwealth are being accepted by the Kentucky State Police through mid-January. Commissioner Rodney Brewer says more than $300,000 in grant funding is available for programs taking an educational approach raising awareness of the dangers of youth drinking. Previous funded programs include retail enforcement and education, campus enforcement and youth-led multimedia projects, as well as community coalitions and student alcohol education programs.
