Aurora, KY – The four-lane highway through Land Between the Lakes is completely open to travelers. Highway officials expect the 8-mile section of KY 68/80 will eliminate traffic back-ups during the summer holiday season. The transportation department opened a three-mile section of the road between the Trace and Kentucky Lake before Thanksgiving. Officials plan a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at a later date.
