TN State Autism Report

By Rose Krzton-Presson

Murray, KY – A recent report from the Comptroller's Offices of Research and Education Accountability says Tennessee teachers lack standardized training in autism. Currently, individual school systems are responsible for training teachers to work with autistic students, which can make transitioning between programs difficult for students. The report is part of research in response to a legislative inquiry about public services for minors with autism in Tennessee.
