Murray, KY – In regional OVC Men's Basketball over the weekend, Murray State lost to Morehead State 65-75, UT Martin lost to Eastern Kentucky 77-69, and Austin Peay beat Eastern Illinois 77-73. In the Women's division, MSU lost to Morehead 65-74, UT Martin won against EKU 61-46, and Austin Peay lost to Eastern Illinois 58-79.
And Mayfield High School's Cardinal football team is this year's Class A state champs after beating the Hazard Bulldogs in the Gridiron Bowl 47-6.
