Madisonville, KY – The Hopkins County Board of Health meets tomorrow for a second reading of an ordinance that would require restaurants to post their health inspections. Health Department spokesperson Lisa Miller expects the measure will pass easily. Miller says after approval, the board must post a notice about the regulation in the newspaper. The ordinance becomes law 30 days after publication. Restaurants that don't comply would face fines up to 100 dollars a day. In our region, Christian County also requires restaurants to post inspection information.
