Nashville, TN – Tennessee's Republican Governor-elect Bill Haslam has named Julius Johnson as his agriculture commissioner. Johnson currently serves as chief administration officer of the Tennessee Farm Bureau. Haslam made the announcement at a Farm Bureau banquet yesterday evening. Johnson is the first agency head named to Haslam's administration. Haslam, who takes office on January 15th, previously named his chief of staff, legal counsel and a special assistant.
