Paris, TN – A Clarksville man will serve one year in prison in connection to a deadly July boating accident at Paris Landing. A Henry County Jury convicted 38 year-old David Ray Phelps in October on one count of vehicular homicide and one count of aggravated assault. The accident killed a Murfreesboro woman and injured her daughter. Along with the one year prison sentence Phelps will remain on probation for eight years and must complete 500 hours of community service. He is currently out on bond.
