Paducah, KY – A two-year-old West Paducah boy remains in critical condition from what police officers suspect is an abuse case. The McCracken County Sheriff's department responded to a call this week about a child that was unresponsive and not breathing. The child was taken to Lourdes Hospital, then transported to Kosairs Children's Hospital in Louisville. The exact cause of the boy's injuries has not been released. The Purchase Area Sexual Assault Center is assisting in the investigation.
