Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear says 13 projects totaling $90,000 in federal grant money will be issued from the state's Heritage Council. Beshear's office used a federal survey to establish priorities among over the 30 projects that applied for the funding. The city of Guthrie is a grant recipient, along with Frankfort, London and the University of Kentucky. The money will be used to fund surveys of historic properties and rural landscapes.
