Paducah, KY – McCracken County School officials are opting to build an additional wing and an indoor sports practice facility range at the planned consolidated high school. Board members yesterday unanimously accepted a bid to construct the campus from Paducah-based A and K Construction for just almost 56 million dollars. The work can begins as soon as the school's bonds go sale. Superintendent Nancy Waldrop says, "It's a great night for McCracken County," pointing out she's pleased because A and K is a local contractor.
