Murray, KY – The case against two men charged with the attempted murder of a Murray businessman will be heard in a Calloway County courtroom. A change of venue request by attorneys for Terrence Silas and Cortez Beckman over concerns of jury bias was denied yesterday. The two men face attempted murder, burglary and robbery charges stemming from the home invasion of Pagliai's Pizza owner Chuck Wynn. Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blankenship argued the community's familiarity with Wynn does not mean jurors would automatically believe his testimony over anyone else's.
