Paducah, KY – National Weather Service forecasters say Wednesday's icy weather will be worst for those on the road. Meteorologist Alex Dodd says rain, freezing rain, and sleet will move through tomorrow afternoon and continue through Thursday morning. Dodd says accumulation will be low, with most of western Kentucky receiving less than a tenth of an inch of ice. Temperatures will be in the low 30s, warming slightly Thursday, Kentucky Transportation Spokesman Keith Todd says some salt remains on the roads from the weekend snow and ice. He says that will help out in the early hours of the event. Crews will be out later tomorrow afternoon to add more salt.
