Paducah, KY – Members of the United Steel Workers Local 550 union in Paducah have ratified a new contract with the United States Enrichment Corporation. The new agreement runs through July 2016. USEC Spokesperson Georgann Lookofsky says some provisions of the contract go into effect immediately. Those include a signing bonus for USW members. She says other parts are staggered, such as annual salary increases and long-term adjustments to the design of the medical plan. USW Local 550 represents approximately 582 USEC employees.
