Paducah, KY – A Jefferson County deputy coroner is awaiting test results before ruling the official cause of death of a Paducah toddler who died at a hospital there last week. 2-year-old Conner Bachuss died Friday at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville. The coroner's office indicates the additional tests include microscopic and toxicological analysis. McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden tells the Paducah Sun his office considers the case to be child abuse. No charges have yet to be filed.
