School Under Investigation After Parent Complaints

By Angela Hatton

Hopkinsville, KY – Christian County School Board members say they should have been informed about an investigation by the Kentucky Office of Education and Accountability. But a school spokesperson says Superintendent Brady Link followed regulation. The Kentucky New Era reports OEA is investigating Christian County High School and middle school because parents complained of teachers there. Spokesperson Regan Huneycutt says OEA officials told Superintendent Link to only inform the school principals of the investigation. She says there is no policy requiring Link to inform the board. Details of the investigation are not public, but Huneycutt says it will conclude in early January.
