Mayfield, KY – The attorney for a Mayfield man accused of attempting to kidnap a 12-year-old girl is arguing the photo lineup police used to identify him should be thrown out of court. Attorney Nathan Goodrich tells the Paducah Sun the lineup included people of the same race and gender as Yusuf Hassan, but the way they appeared offered a stark difference. Goodrich claims all of the other photographs depicted well-dressed and groomed African-American businessmen, leaving Hassan with an unfair bias. Goodrich says the case is one of mistaken identity and his client maintains zero involvement in the charges.
