Fort Campbell, Ky. – A former Fort Campbell security guard is suing one of the U.S. government's largest private security contractors. Kenneth Callender of Clarksville, Tennessee claims the Lorton, Virginia-based Coastal International Security induced him and others to stay on the job with the promise of a never-paid $1,500 retention bonus. Callender's attorney says the lawsuit would cover about 200 private guards at Fort Campbell if it is certified as class-action. They filed the suit last week in U.S. District Court in Paducah.
