Murray, KY – The Murray Parks Board voted unanimously to remove Parks Director Matt Martin from his position at a meeting last night. Board Chairman Jason Lovett says board members had considered the move for some time. He declined to offer a reason for the dismissal. Martin has been Parks Director for over four years. Lovett says the board will begin a replacement search immediately. Members plan to discuss more details at their next meeting January 10.
