Hopkinsville, KY – The city of Hopkinsville plans park improvements at several locations next year. Mayor Dan Kemp says the city is waiting for approval to use $1.5 million in Community Development Block grants for park upgrades. The Kentucky New Era reports projects include adding more public restrooms, green space, and a footbridge. The city also plans to spend 800-thousand dollars to improve streetscapes. Kemp says improvements are part of a community vision plan.
