Paducah, KY – Retail gossip surrounding Paducah's Kentucky Oaks Mall might have a snippet of truth. During remarks today, Mayor Bill Paxton says the city is courting new businesses to locate at the mall, and hinted a Target could be among them. Mall owners also plan a five to ten million dollar renovation. It will include updated heating and air conditioning, new floors, and new fixtures. Greater Paducah Economic Development Council Director Chad Chancellor says he can't divulge any information about ongoing projects. But he says at this time, there aren't any official announcements.
