Hopkinsville, KY – Despite the recent shooting at a Tucson town hall style meeting, Hopkinsville Mayor Dan Kemp still plans to meet with locals at the first of in a series of Community Conversations. Kemp plans to ask attendees to name their top three priorities for the community, and take questions and ideas. Mayoral assistant JoAnne Ayres says five members of the Hopkinsville Police Department were already scheduled to attend the event, which begins at 5:15 at North Drive Middle School.
