Murray, KY – The trial of a Tennessee man charged with murder after a crash that killed a truck driver has been delayed until January 31st. The Murray Ledger & Times reports that James P'Poole of Clarksville, faces charges of murder, aggravated DUI and trying to leave the scene of an accident in the October 2009 death of 52-year-old Donny Houston. P'Poole has pleaded not guilty. Calloway Circuit Judge Dennis Foust last week agreed to delay the trial from January 11th to the end of the month. Police arrested P'Poole after his pickup sideswiped a Pepsi truck driven by Houston. The larger vehicle hit a tree and caught fire in a field. Houston died at the scene.
