Paducah, KY – Doctors have ordered McCracken County Commissioner Jerry Beyer to rest at home after he was admitted to the hospital for stroke-like symptoms. Beyer's son says doctors at the hospital tested Beyer, but could not find any evidence of a stroke. Relatives say the commissioner is doing well. He plans to return to duties soon.
